Did you know...About Prerequisites No previous Jewish education, formal or otherwise, is necessary to attend Snorkel and Study, or any other Bais Chana program. Hebrew reading is not a prerequisite. About Options for International Students If you’re an international student, you might be eligible to stay for 2 weeks, combining Snorkel and Study with the women’s study retreat that follows. Who’s Behind Snorkel & Study Snorkel & Study is a project of Bais Chana Women International, a non-profit organization that serves an international clientele of women from all walks of life, ages 15 and up, through every life-cycle phase. Info For Past Attendees If you’ve been to Snorkel & Study and want to attend again, you are eligible to come back - but not on a full scholarship. Work-Study might be an option but you may also want to consider a women’s retreat, which offers student rates if you need help with finances. What We Offer Engaged Couples If you’re engaged, check out the couples retreat that follows Snorkel and Study. Of course, you’d need to convince your fiancée – but it’s one of the best investments you’ll ever make in your marriage. What We Offer Teen Girls If you have a teenage sister, cousin or neighbor, Bais Chana offers sessions especially for teen girls called the Jewish Un-Camp, that run every July and over the holiday weekends during the school year. Check www.baischana.org for more details or call 800.473.4801 (outside US & Canada: 718.604.0088). What We Offer Women Bais Chana runs women’s study retreats across the country and to Israel, from 4 days to three weeks long. Check www.baischana.org for more details or call 800.473.4801 (outside US & Canada: 718.604.0088).
